Probability & Statistics for Geosciences

This mezzanine course, for graduate students and upper-level undergraduates , provides an introduction to probability and statistics with a focus on applied data analysis for Earth & Environmental Sciences. Topics include probability distributions, descriptive statistics, parameter estimation, hypothesis testing, linear regression, time series analysis, and multivariable statistics.
